High School Rises to 2nd Floor; Food Packs Given

With the walls and corridors of La Grotte High School’s 1st Floor completed, construction has now moved onto the 2nd Floor. Infrastructure for the six classrooms, library, and computer lab will be built among the two floors and later topped with a roof as funding and building materials are made available. The High School Construction project has been stimulating to the local Haitian economy as building crews and materials are sourced from the area. Haiti On The Rise thanks you for all of your support.

During the 2023 Holidays, our volunteer network in Haiti procured food from local vendors to assemble food packs for families in need. Many of those volunteers were the students and family members of those in our Scholarship program.

The Holiday food packs were later distributed in downtown Port-au-Prince to a number of families in need. Haiti On The Rise thanks you for sharing the Holiday spirit of giving and bringing in the New Year to those in Haiti.

Haiti On The Rise’s Scholarship program continues to grow, and our many young students completed the Fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year safely. During the Winter break, a number of them assembled to celebrate the Holidays, plan for the New Year, and thank you – the giving supporters to the Scholarship program.
