Dingle Walkathon Hikes Kerry Camino In Ireland

Our Dingle Walk Stars have started their walkathon by going from Tralee towards Dingle along the Kerry Camino of the Dingle Way.  Here is Joe Suggs describing the opening day of the walkathon and how the Dingle Walk Stars are trying to raise funds for Haiti On The Rise to complete the roof of the new high school.  From 512 to 530 AD, St Brendan the Navigator purportedly built small monastic dwellings along the present-day Kerry Camino, which begins in St Brendan’s birthplace of Tralee and concludes in the peninsula’s largest town of Dingle.  The Kerry Camino is so named, for it lies within Ireland’s County Kerry and is modelled after the Camino de Santiago, or Way of St James, in Northern Spain.

Please support the Dingle Walk Stars for their efforts in helping Haiti On The Rise complete its high school with a roof.  You may donate by credit card using the following links or QR code that go to our PayPal Giving Fund page:

Thank you to all of the Dingle Walk Stars for their considerations, efforts, and support.  Please enjoy some images of the walkathon below.  May the group have safe and enriching experiences throughout the remainder of their journey.  Together through their endeavors, we can complete the high school and give the gift of Education to present and future generations of promising, young students living in a neighborhood in need.
